Fall Essential: The Chelsea Boot
This Fall season is all about the Chelsea boot. From work days to weekends these boots take you right into the western vibe we all love this fall. I personally have the ones from ZARA and I love them, they have just the right amount of studs to be able to dress them up with minis and blazers and the perfect dose for laid back chic as well. The Chelsea boot is a definite must this season, they come in all different warm hues and textures. Suede and coganc are my personal faves, only because they match with absolutely everything:)
So go with a little cowgirl charm this season! Yee-Haw!

It is with out a doubt that the girl of the month is the one and only Blake Lively. The talented young actress is always dressed to the nines and does it so effortlessly. Her feminine and lean silhouette wears just about everything so perfectly well. We all know her as “Serena” on GG and remember her by her luscious gold locks. I’ve created a round up of my all time favorite outfits. Chanel to Lanvin, nudes to hues, Blake is always strikingly beautiful!-Ryan better hold on to this one!

Fashion Week 2012 took off last week in the big apple. The hair, the makeup, the accessories, the celebs, the designers but most of all the fabulous collections! Among many talented designers, Herve Leger stood out, he always nails it for me. With its slimming bandage materials, to bold embellishments, and bondage/rocker look-L-O-V-I-N-G the collection!

Outfit Of The Day: Romantic Flair
This particular outfit is one of my favorites. Not only is it ultra comfortable but it gives you that effortless edge with a tad of sexiness. I got this dress on my lovely trip to Italy in a super hip flee market and it only cost me 10 Euros! Yup a real steal!
The different lengths such as the one in this dress are great for day and night, give the illusion of a longer leg and they are so easy to wear. Love it:)

In The Designer Limelight: Thomas Sabo Beauty
While spending a beautiful sunday afternoon with a close friend, I simply could not resist her scent, and that is when I discovered Thomas Sabo and was instantly in love. The fruity yet elegant fragrance called Charm Rose and Charm Kiss by Thomas Sabo are my current obsessions . This week I was lucky enough to interview the Canadian representative of the Thomas Sabo Beauty line, here’s a sneak peek of our playful Q&A.
Q: Who is Thomas Sabo?
A: Thomas Sabo is a German jewelry designer who began his journey in 1984. Crafting high-end jewelry in sterling silver, followed by the Charm Club Collection. He is to jewelry, what Christian Louboutin is to shoes. He most recently, launched a beauty collection which emerged from the Charm Club Collection; this includes a more affordable perfume without compromising on high quality. Luxurious shower creams, body lotions, floral fragrances, rich lip gloss among many other beauty items included in the collection.
Q: What is the signature beauty item?
A: The Charm Rose and Charm Kiss eau de Perfume are a must have in any women’s makeup station. The Charm Rose is composed of a three rose bouquet; Chinese rose, Alpine rose and Musk rose. Together they make a very light, fruity sent that are sure to turn heads. The Charm Kiss is made of dark chocolate truffles, vanilla, champagne and strawberries it smells just like a yummy cupcake if you ask me. “It’s the type of scent that’s guaranteed to make you flirt” says the 25 year old rep. Outfit of The day: Easy Breezy
Easy Breezy and no ladies I am not referring to Cover Girl, I am talking about my outfit of the day. Easy and breezy is the perfect way to describe my Ootd, so comfortable yet so chic and so easy to put together. The layered skirt is from Zara, and it is definitely one of my favorite summer pieces. It’s a show stopper, literally! While roaming the streets of Montreal with my “beau” I could not walk 2 blocks without being asked “Omg love your skirt, where’s it from?”. It’s casual laid back look gives you instant style without that “trying so hard” effect. Paring this flowy skit with strappy sandals (the ones above are from BCBGeneration) add to the daytime look.
A bold necklace brings the outfit together and adds some definition, the one I am wearing is from Aldo. My Purse is by Michael Kors and my hat was stolen from my bf, from H&M 🙂

Fierce is what comes to mind when browsing through the ELLE 2012 August issue. Katie Holmes reveals a bolder, sexier and riskier side, very different from “the girl next door” image she has always portrayed. Katie opens up about embracing her 30’s “I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier” says the 33-year-old bombshell. We all have our beauty obsessions, whether it be a nail lacquer, lip gloss, powder, mascara etc. A girl can never have too many beauty items. My long time favourite cosmetic brand is hands down Nars by Francois Nars. For years now I’ve been using the infamous Laguna bronzing powder which has won several awards as best beauty buys. The powder includes rich minerals which creates a perfect golden shimmer, enhances tanned skin and even fills in pores for smoother, more even looking skin. Another must have is The Orgasm collection, it’s a subtle peachy pink with a golden shimmer and it looks great on any skin complexion. I recommend the Multiple- it’s a multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Its creamy texture allows for easy and flawless application. What is great about this shimmer is that it instantly highlights all your best features so effortlessly. Great for cheekbones and lower brow area.

We all remember her as America’s sweetheart on The Hills. Lauren Conrad is the epitome of fashion feminitity and it is with no surprise that she is our Girl of the Month!
